All graphics have distortion!
When printed graphics are produced, distortion is introduced into
the printed results that make the original digital die line inaccurate
for cutting. This distortion occurs with digital, offset & screen
printing, and can be due to the printing process itself, the media
instability, variable roll tension, distortion during lamination,& more. With i-cut, your customer never needs to worry about the
type of distortion, or the severity again - it works for all!
The i-cut system offers five distinct types of distortion correction algorithms that accurately work for all types of applications: 1) Position, 2) Register Curve, 3) Register Layer, 4) Linear Compensation, & 5) Non-Linear Compensation - the highest level of compensation available & provides the closest possible match of the cutting path to the actual printed graphic.
The CR CNC PanelMate - SignMate System uses i-cut automatic layer generation tool with tool path software, automatic i-cut registration mark insertion software for adobe illustrator, an i-cut CCD camera for the CNC machine to read the printed registration marks, & offers a tangential knife head, scoring wheel, & optional i-cut PC Workstation for maximum flexibility & ease of use.
